Located at the tip of Throggs Neck, where the East River meets the Long Island Sound, the SUNY Maritime College is one of only seven degree-granting maritime academies in the United States. Originally dedicated in 1856, Fort Schuyler needed to be restored to past glory. Rising Sun Construction was responsible for the 63,000 SF of Siplast Roofing replacement. We were also contracted to build a new Concrete Deck and were responsible for all Stucco work and all Masonry-related restoration work.
For this Renovation project, Rising Sun’s responsibilities included:
- Installing a 63,000 SF Siplast Roof
